One of the most enjoyable part of what I like to call our ‘Mauimoon’, was seeing the Surfing Goat Dairy Farm. Our tour guide kindly let us feed these ladies below – so stinking cute! It made me want to move to Maui and start my own goat farm!

Seriously, I told hubs that I want a goat farm, and saw that our local craigslist sold goats! (There is a bit of farmland out in these parts.) We don’t currently own enough land to support this, but a girl can dream… 

I also learned what quark was. To be honest, I don’t know how it’s all that different from yogurt as it had a very similar consistency, but it was delicious at the tasting – also part of the tour!

I put some passion fruit quark with granola as a part of morning breakfasts. It’s a great way to start the day listening to the ocean, eating delicious tropical things!
