So in 2018, I left my medical job to work on my photography business full time. I made the decision to prioritize helping people in other joyful ways. 

I worked as a Physician Assistant in Surgery for over a decade. It taught me a lot about anticipating the needs of the team, thinking about the next steps ahead and how to prepare, striving for excellence, results, accuracy, systems, and teamwork.

But it also kept burning me out. Daydreams were had of a quieter simpler life.

Photography let me see the same life situation in different ways. Through different lenses, edits, and experiences.

My style

My photography style can be described as using film like color in images, with modern styling.  While capturing your true energy and emotions on camera.  

I’m an empath who understands feeling uncomfortable when lenses are being pointed at you with the threat of photos being taken. It may not look like it from these photos, but I get it. That empathy extends to people that may have the thought someone else is making me do this because I have to (ahem, bosses, spouses, kids!) . 

My secret sauce is making sessions FUN, and EASY, so that you feel as comfortable as possible!
