What is brand photography?
Brand photography can be used interchangeably for business photography.
We can wax poetic about how a brand is more than just a business. But essentially, brand photos used for business purposes. They're to promote your business or brand, to gain awareness of your business or brand, and most importantly, they're of YOU working with clients if you're a service based business!
It shows you what you do which make the words that you pair it with, like a website, show a cohesive story about your brand.
COMMON QUESTIONS
How are they different from a headshot?
Headshots are more static photos usually with your head, neck, and shoulders. Think LinkedIn photos. They show who you are and what you look like, but don't really say a lot more about you.
They don't have as much personality or storytelling components, which can also include the location or background, surrounding props, or interaction with other people, specifically clients.
They mostly tell people what you look like not what you do.
What makes you different from other branding photographers?
I've done brand shoots for over four years. This experience has translated into dialed in packages clients that get their business and offers up quickly.
This includes storytelling brand images, a variety of great portraits of you, some headshots so you have one handy if you need one, and a complimentary stock photo package to round out your set of images so you can plug and play.
This is the base and we can add on and build onto this with different types of images and photography as it makes sense for your brand and business!
WhY ARE LICENSING FEES INVOLVED IN THESE TYPES OF PHOTOS?
You might feel unsure about paying for licensing because you’ve never had to with other photography you’ve had before.
Family and wedding photographers don’t put licensing fees in their contracts because you’re likely only using their photos for personal use at home or with other family members. These are not distributed for the purposes of business.
In business settings, photographers are able to add licensing fees to their rates. Here's a blog that goes into more detail!

You send me all your ideas for your shoot! If you're not sure about what you want yet, we can make mood boards (AKA inspiration boards) to help you bring your vision to life!
I'll review all the inspiration and put together a shoot list, prop list, and review all this with you before our session.
You have time to review this and rework it if needed.

BOOK A SESSION
After carefully going through all the options you pick a photographer! YAY!
We pick a day, time, and location for your shoot!
Some details about booking: 50% of your session fee is needed to book your time and date. The other 50% is due a week before your session.

Shooting Day is my favorite day!
We've done all the prep work and planning and now we get to come together and make it happen!
You're going to look so so good!
You're going to get your makeup and hair done, plus get posing coaching from me!
I'm told it feels a bit awkward, but I promise you it looks amazing in photos!
Session

Within 5 business days after your session, you'll receive a proof gallery. And you'll have the opportunity to select your favorite images!
If you'd like to select more photos than are included in your package, you're welcome to do so!
Or if you'd like for me to pick the photos, I can do that too!
PROOFING

FINAL IMAGE DELIVERY!

Photos are delivered within 2 - 3 weeks of your proof selection!
You'll receive your own private online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints from!
