I had the pleasure of taking these photos in honor of Remedios or Remy. She is Rachel and Brandon’s second child. Remy is named after one of the characters in one of Rachel’s favorite books: 1000 years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Their older daughter Dolores is three years old and is bursting with personality! Dolores also made all the great collages above the couch!

When I first arrived, I was greeted by Rachel and Remy. Both Rachel and Remy was warm and sweet. I quickly noticed was what soulful eyes Remy has! I zoomed in on some of the photos it looks like she could have green or hazel colored eyes. Remy also has a easy going temperament, and was a joy to work with!

We took advantage of the window light that was available for the photos above! We were lucky and this was taken in between Nor’ Easters! It was cloudy which made for pretty diffused afternoon light coming through the window.

I feel incredibly grateful to work with such great families! Their love and adoration for each other is so apparent and transcends sleep deprivation.

This session was a gift from Jennifer who was featured in the last blog! Jennifer and Rachel have been friends since High School! Thank you Brandon and Rachel for having me in your lovely home and to Jennifer for being my number one mom champion!
